Presh in boots

I'm off to Sydney for the weekend (yay!) and thought I'd share an image of Olivia (Presh) and her new boots.

I know we are still feeling the heat here in Brisbane, but you know when you see a cute pair of boots you have to buy them then and there.  I got caught out last year and left it too late.

So far, the boots have been bike riding, to Bunnings and lawn mowing.  They are now back safe and sound in their box waiting for the cold weather to arrive.

Vintage Glamour

These images just make me smile.  Looking at them makes me want to call my best girlfriends, pack a picnic and head to the seaside.  We would need a fabulous vintage convertible to complete the experience.  Any takers?

I heart :: Saturday's

Each Saturday I take my daughter to ballet lessons and afterwards we've started popping into antique shops together.  I love this time we spend together.

This weekend we visited two stores and came out with these little treasures.

1930's ceramic bookends.  Perfect for Olivia's room.

Greek key pattern canisters.  I'm trying to find out more about these, ie how old they are etc.

One more Janet Hill

Here is my latest Janet Hill purchase.  To say that I love her (Zelda is her name) is an understatement.  At present she is resting on top of our mantle, however there are a few walls in our home she would look perfect on.

I can't get these gorgeous watercolours out of my head.  They are the work of Brooklyn artist, Bella Foster.  I think Camile would look lovely in my daughter's bedroom.  It reminds me of her alot.

Vintage Rose Wedding

I've been a little light on the posts this week as most of my spare time has been spent making these little lovelies.  The bride wanted a blue and pink vintage rose theme.  She supplied me with images of what she envisaged and here are the results.
