Life

Sorry for the lack of posts lately however 'life' just seems to have taken over.

Just normal everyday business has been keeping me busy plus added into the mix trying to complete my new website and a few other exciting projects has left no time for blogging.

Actually I've also been spending alot more quality time with my children, colouring in, reading and just being 'with' them. You see some very dear friends of mine had the most shocking news three weeks ago. Their son was involved in a horrific car accident. The first week I was in utter disbelief that someone so close to me could be affected by something like this. Their lives are spent at the hospital and I'm sure they will never look at another hospital the same way again.

They have a long, hard, bumpy, muddy road ahead of them. They will have their family and friends to hold their hand every step of the way. To pick them up when they fall and to help guide them when they are lost.

Every minute I'm reminded of just how blessed we are. To enjoy every minute because in the blink of an eye your world could be shattered.

  1. Thinking of you at the moment! What a difficult road for your friends. And you too as you support them and love them xo
Your family is where it's at. So lovely to have the time with our children - continue to make the most of it! xo

  2. I am so sorry to hear about your family friend. Your post could not have been more true! I often remind myself of that same thing and I'm always terrified that something is going to happen and I am going to wish I had done more. But those depressing thoughts always motivate me to do more and spend time with my family.

    Hope you are doing well!

  6. I know Sharnel, I just cant believe what has happened. I sometimes have moments like this, where I just sit with Charli and just be. It reminds us how lucky we all are. I think I am going to cry....
