I've been inspired by so many of my American friends and their winter Christmas, that last night I decided to make Winter Wonderland Gingerbread Cookies. I love the way they turned out.
I used the Gingerbread Cookie Recipe I posted earlier and covered them in fondant and sprinkled with a little edible disco glitter! You've got to love that sparkley stuff!

You are so talented!! Love your blog and all those ideas you are giving me!!
ReplyDeleteLove it Sharnel - must give it a go! Like the 2nd pic - a little bit like a creamy centre - think this is a sign that you need a creamy centre - would highly recommend it. Leanne xxxx
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS !!!
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful! Is there anywhere in Brisbane that teaches how to use fondant to decorate cookies and cupcakes? I'd love to learn!
ReplyDeleteExceptionally exquisite!! Definitely too beautiful to eat:)
ReplyDeleteOh Sharnel, one day I WILL make something like this. Maybe a cookie class in 2010???
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your lovely comments.
ReplyDeleteSimone - I thought of you when I posted these images. I thought they were right up your alley!
Sharnel - you make me want to puke. No offense. I would love to be able to make these cookies!! You read my mind re; reindeer cookies. I am going to do these this year too! Minus the red and green m & M's though as I won't have the time to pick through the red and greens or I just might if I go through and eat all the others...hahahah
ReplyDeleteYour cookies are beautiful! Merry Christmas, really like your blog.
