Exciting news and a giveaway

It is with much excitement I share with you that I've been invited to be a contributor on The Party Dress.
I'll be posting 2-4 times a month regarding everything party related. Head on over there now to see my first post.

To celebrate I'm having a giveaway here at My Life My Loves. Leave a comment here explaining what sort of inspiration board you would like to see next at The Party Dress. It can be for a child's or adults party, baby shower, bridal shower or wedding. Be as creative as you like and maybe I'll choose yours and create an inspiration board around your idea.

The prize will be a party pack from one of my favourite partyware suppliers Sambellina. Sambellina is a new collection of designer party accessories and stationery especially for children. I'm giving away a party pack containing 8 plates & cups in multi dot colour way with matching gift tags and a set of co-ordinating invitations.

Entries close Monday 21st February 2010 at 5pm.

  1. Sounds exciting! OK - I need inspiration for a girl's 9th birthday. Only catch is - she doesn't like pink! (more of a blue and green girl, me thinks)KG

  2. Thanks for the introduction to this great resource! I would love to do a girly "high tea"-themed bridal shower for my sister later in the year, with vintage bone china tea sets and crystal for the champagne.

I love your rainbow moodboard! I may have to use the idea for my 30t.

  18. Hi Sharnel,
Inspiration - I need lots of it. Firstly ideas for tween girls would be greatly appreciated. But most importantly my husband is turning 40 this year. I would love some ideas on how to create a brilliant party he so deserves. We are also planning a weekend away to celebebrate the 40th birthdays of a number of close, wonderful friends - would love some ideas for a group celebration.

  23. Congrats Sharnel! I love your blog and will definitely be checking out your posts at The Party Dress.

My mom is turning 50 on April 4th, which is actually on Easter Sunday. I'm planning her a garden lunch style party. It's going to be in Florida at either my parents' neighborhood clubhouse or in their backyard lanai. I'd love to play off of the whole spring, Easter, garden details and use lots of pastels and flowers. I'd love your suggestions.
