  12. OMG, are those the toadstools for the party? SQUEEL!!!! Can't wait for the party pics!
I can't believe you had time to make them while the children are on school holidays, husband away and looking after your dad, I officially hand over my Superwoman cape to you! I've struggled getting anything done with my kiddies at home, and the party is creeping closer and closer, only 3 weeks to go for me :-( Yikes!

  13. Just found your blog and WOW love it!! I have to ask we are in the process of building and I want marble counter tops so bad but have been told they are not the best for a kitchen. From what I see your kitchen is pretty much designed exactly like what I have had designed with the subway tiles etc. I would love to know if you like your countertops ? Thanks SO much!

  14. Thanks for sharing your week with us :) You have been a busy lady Sharnel! And with having to look after your unwell Dad, you must feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders! But hang in there....you're amazing!!!
YUM....you've now made me crave hot soup :)
And....I had to giggle about the Charlotte reference.....my girlfriend & I were discussing that very scene today! She said her hideaway to cry was the laundry LOL....mine is the shower :)
I passed on a blogging award to this week...read here for details: http://www.scissorspaperrockdesigns.com.au/read-our-blog/2010/7/8/blogging-award.html

  15. Looking forward to seeing photos of the big day! Loved your soup and loved seeing the 'Furi' knives - one of my husband's best friends actually designed these knives. I use many of them in my kitchen too. Great to see this fab Qld brand out and about!
