Delicious milk and cookie party over at Hip Hip Hooray for Mia's 2nd birthday.
My fave detail would have to be the innovative straws or maybe the polka dot backdrop. Hmmm can't decide, it's all so cute.

Good luck everyone!
Here are some images from Camilla's 11th Birthday party. What are fantastic afternoon! Oh and how gorgeous is this home? Super gorgeous I tell you. You should see the artwork on the walls .... to die for. Most importantly though, the family that lives in this house is warm, generous, loving and just as gorgeous as the house itself.
25 eleven year olds full to the eyeballs with chocolate, squealing in absolute delight. The party theme was chocolate so we decided to host a chocolate cupcake decorating party. Each guest was given two cupcakes to decorate after a little demonstration by me.
While this was happening the girls happily sipped on chocolate milk and munched on fresh sushi. So many of the guests commented on how much fun it was decorate their own cupcakes. Many devoured them then and there, others chose to take theirs home to share.
After the decorating was complete, out came a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries and cherries to dip. OMGoodness, how good where the cherries and chocolate! And what a mess they made. I didn't get any photos of this, but believe me they enjoyed themselves. Some where even drinking the chocolate straight out of the fountain with their stripey straws. Note to self: must try that at Max Brenner next time I'm there.
I'll be back tomorrow to share more photos with you.
The dessert table inspired by Amy Atlas (as always). Thank you Amy.
Whilst Julie Goolia (aka the Ginger Ninja) has been busy running the country I've been busy preparing for Camilla's 11th Birthday party tomorrow.
Here are a few snaps to keep the beautiful birthday girl happy.
20 tissue pom poms puffed and primed
Custom bunting, tags and ribbon
Custom ruffle tablecloths (my favourite thing)
Some boxes to add height to the dessert table
And lots and lots of chocolate!
Note: When saying Ginger Ninja out loud, use your best Monkey Magic voice.
I can feel a whole new party theme starting to take flight, deep deep down in my waters LOL!
Olivia's 6th Birthday is still 36 days away and I'm already planning her Prep (pre-school) summer break-up party. I have a fixation on the colours turquoise, hot pink and yellow at present and when I saw this gorgeous hand painted decanter this morning in the latest issue of Country Living July - August 2010 I jumped for joy!
Now to get it here. Hhhhmmmm ..... I can sense an email to my good friend Glory may just be in order.
Brown Button Trading have some lovely bits and pieces that would go perfectly with the decanter. And the turquoise jug is on sale!
Aren't these little works of art just pure loveliness? Lots more to oh and ah over at Woodland Belle.
I'm speechless Tracey. Go forth and view the wonder of Jeremiah's 1st Birthday. And just quietly, I'm so glad I can call her my friend.
First, lunch at Felini's (Marina Mirage)
Then off to Max for a chocolate fix
Then a long walk on the beach - perfect winters day.
Here are the last of our holiday photos (well the ones I'm sharing with you).
Most of these were taken on our last full day on the island of Kona. What a relaxing and spiritual place.
While I was here ....
The rest of the family were acting the goat in the pool, like this ....
I did a little crafting on my holiday too....
William decided his traditional basket looked better on his head
A little posing never hurt anyone
Off to view the volcanos (we even saw lava flow)
The end of a lllllloooooong day
You could find me here most nights here after dinner
This past weekend was a very civilised long weekend for us good folk here in Australia. The extra day of rest gave me such much valued time and I just pottered around the house moving things and making the house look pretty.
A few weeks back I was lucky enough to have a an early viewing of Judy's designer garage sale. (One could hardly call it a garage sale) I picked up some fab bargains including a pair of these etched hurricanes that Judy used at her recent wedding.
I thought the vessel would work nicely as a vase as well as hurricane. I'm pretty sure I prefer the arrangement in lounge room. How about you, which do you prefer? Lounge or family room?
