Up, up and away ........

I'm signing off for a few weeks (three to be exact). We are heading off tomorrow on the "Dollar Family African Safari 2009".

African Safari

I thought I'd share with you where Perry and I are going to stay during our adventure to the Okavango in Botswana. This will be my sixth trip to Africa and during that time we have travelled all over Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana and Namibia.

For one week Perry, my father-in-law and I will travel to the Okavango in Botswana. We will be staying at Mombo Camp, on the northern tip of Chief's Island within the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The camp is built under large shady trees and overlooks an open floodplain area that boasts enormous concentrations of plains game and large predators - lions in particular - providing what is arguably the best big game viewing in Botswana.

I'm excited ...... are you???? hehehehe

We are all dreaming of Africa

Hmmm .... hopefully we'll make a decision this week.
