Collections

A few years back (three to be precise) my dear friend Keren gave me a simple white ceramic jug as a housewarming gift. I use it all the time as a vase. I love the simplicity of it.

Well that jug has started me on my way to another collection - white jugs. Here are three of them filled with flowers that I purchased for myself this morning at the flower market. I couldn't help myself. Flowers do it for me. They float my boat, blows my hair back .... you get the picture.

What do you collect? I'd love to know. I also have a white milk hobnail glass collection and a smaller jade milk glass and pink too. The pink is my favourite but much harder to find.

  4. I'm so envious looking at this photo. It looks so beautiful and reminds me of all the lovely things I have that are packed away in storage, and have been for the past 18 months. I collect white jugs too, blue and white china and pewter. I miss it all and can't wait to be able to create beautiful vignettes and table settings just like you've done. Gorgeous and keeps me going in the meantime..sigh....

  5. That looks so beautiful and it's a great idea! I wish that I had my own flat (I live with my friends), so I could decorate other rooms the way I want.
